Although our moorings do not have water or electricity, we do have lots of space for sitting out, barbeques etcetera. Skipton sanitary station is nearby, there are water points nearby each mooring and diesel is available in the canal basin.

 

Skipton is a wonderful place to be based. This attractive market town although small offers a great range of facilites. Firstly it's transport links are excellent. The railway station is within easy walking distance of both our Skipton moorings and is served by regular trains to Leeds, Bradford and Morecambe with services further afield to London and Carlisle. There are excellent bus connections from Leeds, Harrogate, Preston and Burnley with daily services from London and Glasgow.

 

Within walking distance of the Skipton moorings you also have a wide range of shops including 3 supermarkets, a very local DIY store and a whole raft of high street chains. We have a cinema and a bowling alley and a fantastic range of pubs and restaurants.
